
More than just a physical workout for me
I’ve practiced yoga on and off for the past 10 years but it wasn’t until my third or fourth Kundalini class with Vanessa that yoga became more than just a physical workout for me.
For the first time I was able to connect to the energy within my body and experience yoga on a spiritual level.
It has helped increase my concentration and self determination allowing me attain yoga postures I never thought I would be able to achieve before.
The emphasis on pranayamas (the breath) has not only improved my air consumption when diving but I am also able to find my centre quickly and remain focused during challenging situations.
Practicing Yoga with Vanessa has helped calm my anxiety, gain more self confidence and determination, things that I see overflow into all aspects of my life. The best way I can describe it is that I have ‘leveled up’.
Now my yoga class is one of the most important parts of my week.
